Our solutions are based on existing and proven technology and can be configured or customized to meet unique needs.
Content Management Systems
The fundamental concept behind a content management system is the separation of the content from the presentation of the content. The raw content is stored in a database, where it can be accessed independently of the presentation. Our content management software bridges the gap between the creation of content and its delivery. This user-friendly software enables you to keep your text, images, documents and other data updated without having to touch the underlying code, without introducing bugs, and without incurring additional development costs. The content management system software was created using common web programming languages, and therefore, is compatible with most web sites and learning management systems.
Learning Management Systems
A Learning Management System (LMS), provides all of the administrative functionality behind a training system. LMS systems can range greatly in their capabilities and specific features, but basically they handle all issues related to providing access to the content, delivery of the content, and student performance tracking/reporting. This translates to capabilities such as:
Some LMS systems also include capabilities such as course authoring tools that may allow instructors to load their course content or assessments into the system. This type of capability is usually more commonly delivered through a content management system. Many LMS systems will also have abilities to interface to other applications such as HR and ERP systems to share data and facilitate tracking and reporting. The LMS can be a very important part of your system, especially if your training program is large and has many students and many courses that need to be managed. There are many commercially available LMS systems for the more complex needs of large-scale implementations. Alternatively, when the LMS capabilities are not as complex or sophisticated, it may be more cost effective to create a semi-custom LMS application that implements only the functionality that is required.
Simulation & Engineering Services
Many of our training modules are based on placing the worker in a simulated real life scenario and allowing them the ability to learn by doing. In many cases this may involve the simulation of a piece of equipment, physical process, or software product. These custom modules provide a cost effective, safe, and repetitive way for a trainee to practice work situations, manufacturing operations, processes, and problem scenarios in a simulated environment, without risk of costly or dangerous mistakes. Applications include:
Our engineering staff is able to work with your data and subject matter experts to create realistic computer simulations that can be used in any integrated training application.
